I did not have any dry onion soup mix to make the “classic” onion dip for the Super Bowl, so I made up a concoction from what I had in the house. My maiden name is French, so I call it French Onion Dip!

“French” Onion Dip

1 pint sour cream
1 tablespoon beef bouillon granules
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dry minced onions
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate for about 1 hour. Yummy served with kettle chips!
